Blue Dahlia

Blue Dahlia is the first book of In the Garden novel series. It is written by Nora Roberts. She is a popular author of romance novels. If you take a look at her rich literary archives then Year One novel will pop up as one of her best. The Choice is also a very beautiful novel by the author. The audio narration of this novel is done by Susie Breck. It was an awful performance with an annoying and inaccurate southern accent.

Stella Rothchild was a young widow who was trying hard to escape the ghosts of her past. She also had a couple of energetic boys with her as she moved back to southern Tennessee where she originally belonged to. She wasn’t intimidated at all by the Harper House and even not by her mistress. Despite having a bad reputation for being a difficult person as well, Roz Harper has been absolutely nothing but extremely kind to Stella. She was offered quite a good and comfortable place to live in. Along with that, she also had a very challenging job in hand which was of a manager of a productive In the Garden nursery.

As Stella eased into her new life, she found a good friendship developing with Roz and an expectant mother, Hayley. She developed a strong attraction to Logan Kitridge who was a charming landscaper. He was honest but at the same time, quite difficult as well. Moreover, he was quite sexy also. For a woman as sensible as Stella, Logan might well be what she needs.

The book tells an excellent romance story which you will find to be a typical Nora Roberts title. The audio narration of this book is fantastic.
