Blood of Elves is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the first chapter of The Witcher Saga. The book is written by Andrzej Sapkowski. He is a Polish writer of fantasy novels. The Witcher Series is the best collection of his books and the same has been translated into 37 different languages. You must try out his The Time of Contempt novel. You will also have a great time with his Sword of Destiny novel. The narration of this novel is done by Peter Kenny. The narration seems to be a bit rushed. Otherwise, it was a very good performance from all other aspects of vocal performance.

For more than a century, human beings, gnomes, dwarves, and elves have lived together with peace and harmony. But, times have completely changed now. Peace is all over and the races have started to battle against each other. Dwarves were busy killing all of their kinsmen while elves were after the other elves and humans. The elves which the other group of elves was targeting were the ones who were good and loyal to the humans.

In such a chaotic time, a child was born. She was the one for whom, all of the witchers of the planet were waiting. She was Queen Calanthe’s granddaughter and her name was Ciri. She was in possession of some weird powers and even strange destiny. Her powers were strong enough to completely change the world. It could be for good or evil.

The author has got a very unique style of storytelling and that’s what makes this novel so amazing for the listeners. Blood of Elves is a highly recommended novel.
