Blessed is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the third chapter in Tantalize novel series which is written by Cynthia Leitich Smith. She is the bestselling novelist in New York Times. She writes fiction for young adults and children. If you are looking for more exciting novels from Cynthia then Feral Nights is a good one for you. Sisters of the Never sea is another decent title from the author.

The audio narration of Blessed is done by Kim Mai Guest. The narration was really good and you will enjoy it to the fullest. Quincie P. Morris was believed to be a neophyte vampire and a teen restaurateuse. She was in the fight of her life or maybe, undeath. Even when Quincie managed to adjust well to her new appetite, she must still look to clear out her true love and best friend from the murder charges. That one was Kieren, a hybrid werewolf. The need was also to thwart all of those apocalyptic desires of Bradley.

He was a seductive kind of a vampire-chef who blessed her and also kept the restaurant of her dead parents alive. She then hired another chef who was believed to be more homespun. That inclusion added the much-needed preternaturally charming Zachary to the waiting staff of the restaurant. But, Zachary in no time revealed his true nature after having so many new vampires on the rise.

This third and probably the last chapter in the series would bring you all full circle and you will be reunited with the main heroine. The other characters from prior chapters could also be seen here. It will be an overwhelming experience if you are following the series from scratch.
