Decent people have become outdated in today’s world and such characters have no chance in Lauren Blakely’ stories. The author likes to add spice to the stories and the audience likes it this way. Arden is a typical girl of the modern era but she is more beautiful than the average girl and she is looking to make things messy for herself.

She has been decent all her life and now thinks she has chosen the wrong way for herself because being naughty pays off in the end. Her other friends have boyfriends and they have relations which she craves as well so she has to learn to get naughty but she cannot decide whom to trust. Then she thinks that Gabe could be the right man for the job who could teach her everything about sex. After all, Gabe is her best friend and he is really hot to look at.

When Arden discusses this thing with Gabe, he readily agrees because he has been thinking about that kind of relationship with her for ages and this is her chance. The no touching rule could be overcome within no time if Gabe gets lucky and Arden allows him to come too close to her.

Erin Mallon and Joe Arden have altered the pace of narration on many stages because the story is like that which needs a variation in the description. We cannot say that My So-Called Sex Life or The Boyfriend Material Collection were at the same pace but this one has more variation in it which is interesting to note. It seems that the author wanted this book to stand alone.
