Danielle Steel as a routine adds many characters in her stories but the author has not tried the old pattern which was used in Past Perfect and Without a Trace. Being a supermodel, the main character in the story Veronique thought that she had everything in her grasp. Life was quite happy and satisfying for her because she loved her mother who was always waiting for her at home and her decent boyfriend was an awesome man as well.
When she got the opportunity to spend some time in Tokyo, she thought that it was the right kind of respite that she was looking for. At the airport, all of them were very happy and then a single terrorist attack took everything away from Veronique. Her boyfriend and mother were killed in the incident and she was left in a bad condition.
Although she recovered a few days after the attack she was never the same in terms of her appearance and people around her thought that the blast had taken her career along with it. Rising from such a condition again in life was not easy for the young model but she thought that she should not lose hope and that rising at this point in time could prove that she is a model for everyone.
