The Battlefield Earth is an excellent adventure that is set in the future era of 3000. It was the time when the future survival of the remaining human race was at grave stake.
That was the time when Jonnie Goodboy Tyler made up his mind to travel out of the dwindling and small community of human beings who were struggling to survive in the Rocky Mountain retreat. He had no thought about any challenging of the order which for 1000 years has kept the earth prisoner to Psychlos, an alien race.
The Psychlos along with the huge intergalactic mining corporation had exploited and completely dominated all of the known galaxies over the past few centuries. They destroyed multiple races ruthlessly who showed resistance of any level.
The Battlefield Earth was the bestseller in New York Times. The story is great fun. You might find it slightly old-fashioned but still, it is extremely enjoyable.
