Baptism of Fire: Booktrack Edition

The previous two parts of the Witcher series excited a large audience. This time the witcher named Geralt is in trouble because he has been ambushed. During the attack, Geralt was lucky enough to save his life but he is not a hundred percent after the encounter. With serious injuries, the only way to survive is to hide and remain out of the main scene for some time. He was aiming to remain hidden so that the enemy could not take any kind of advantage but it didn’t remain possible when the true hire to the throne is abducted.

Ciri is the heiress to the throne and everyone was depending on her. Her disappearance started a panic among the people of the empire. Geralt finally comes out of the hiding because he thinks that the time to rest is over. If he keeps on resting then the princess will be married to the emperor and everything he has worked for will perish in front of his eyes.

So the war begins and Geralt starts working as a one man army in this third episode by Andrzej Sapkowski. Like The Time of Contempt and Sword of Destiny, the story will rule your mind and soul forever. Peter Kenny’s superior narration has decorated the story brilliantly.

It is a fight till the end from both sides and only the winner will be able to survive because the one who will lose in this battle will lose his life as well. Geralt is not the same in this episode because he is weakened by the injuries still he fights hard for the cause which is bigger than everything else.
