Jessica was in need of money and she thought that it was an easy way to make money so she went to Dr. Shields and presented herself as a lab rat. The questions which started coming to Jess were quite bizarre and she very quickly concluded that she had made a big mistake by becoming a part of this entire thing.
However, she wasn’t able to get out of the mind games that the doctor started playing with her. There were questions about guilt, punishment, and the crimes that a person has committed in his past life. Jess feels that Shields has started controlling her mind and she is moving on her commands which means that her freedom is lost forever.
Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen have knitted a story that is more psychological. Although there is not a lot of action which is going on apparently a lot continues in the mind of the characters that Barrie Kreinik and Julia Whelan narrate. The Golden Couple is thrilling and The Wife Between Us is full of suspense and awe. Stories by Greer and Sarah take us in the world of crime which can impact the mind strong.
