All the Weyrs of Pern is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the 21^st chapter in the Pern Novels which is written by Anne McCaffrey. She was an American-Irish author. She was the first female author to win the Hugo Award in the fiction category and also the first one to win the Nebula Award. The audio narration of this novel is done by Mel Foster. The narration didn’t go well and had quite a several flaws including poor inflection and pronunciation.

The Dragonriders for many generations had dedicated all of their lives to the fighting Thread. They hovered to blaze the lethal stuff right out of the air which was all done on the back of their superb telepathic dragons. All this was supposed to be done before they could reach the surface of the planet. However, the greatest ever dream of the Dragonriders was to locate a definite way to eradicate Thread. This was required so that there is no chance for the lovely Pern to be ever threatened with any sort of destruction.

For the very first time now, it appears as if that particular dream could come true. There is some incredible news coming in for them from the computer. The book is good enough to move its listeners with such an impeccable story. It could have been a very memorable experience for the listeners if it was narrated in a much better way.
