Activation

Activation is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the opening title in Invasion Series which is written by D.I. Freed. He is a role-playing computer geek who did well in the writing of science fiction and LitRPG games. Assault by all means is the most acknowledged novel that D.I. Freed has written.

The audio narration of the Activation novel is done by Grant Cartwright. It was a lazy performance with many pronunciation-related issues as well. The story of this novel is set in the future year 2035. That was the time when humanity was able to break the barrier of dimensions and it attached its very world to another one.

Something unfortunately was waiting ahead on the other side. Almost 150 years later, humanity was in a challenging and never-ending war for holding of what was left within the world. Vic was a huge military asset for the UFH which was the United Forces of Humanity. His job there was to just kill the Invader Orcs along with their kin as well.

He was on a mission and got exposed to a state of the art and advanced technology which provided him with all the powers. Those new powers were thought to be well beyond anything that he had ever known. How was it possible for him to grow and employ all of those powers for serving humanity and its great hope for taking back the entire world? Do check this out after grabbing your copy of this novel. This book didn’t live up to the expectation of the listeners as such. The story was lacking and the character development was also not got. Even worse, the narration failed to impress as well.
