A Perfect Life

Danielle Steel talks about tragedies in almost every novel she writes but here more stress has been given to the healing process. This makes it a story with a change in order if seen from the perspective of Without a Trace. Blaise’s fake life is the thing that begins the novel, the iconic figure of the television world was living an ideal life but it was not real at all.

Her daughter Salima became blind at a very early age because of diabetes and Blaise wasn’t able to keep her daughter with her because of her busy routine. Blaise sent her daughter to a boarding school that was taking care of her since then. All of a sudden the school closed one day because of an incident and Salima was brought home by Blaise. Life suddenly changed for Bliase because she had to keep an eye on her daughter as well along with her busy routine.

The school sent an instructor with the girl but he too was quite disturbing initially. He wanted Bliase to develop a bond with her daughter for further interaction. Slowly the three became good friends and life started to become better. Bliase knew that the television channel was hiring a new face instead of her because she wasn’t able to give her full energy to the show but it didn’t matter anymore.

Bliase didn’t act like the characters of Fall from Grace rather she starts adjusting to this new life which she has started to like now. The bond between these three characters makes them feel that they are finally living a real life among the other family members. Edoardo Ballerini is the narrator so don’t forget to give credit to him as well.
