A Dance with Dragons

A Dance with Dragons is the fifth chapter in A Song of Ice and Fire novel series. It went on to become a great series where this 5th chapter played a significant role. George R. R> Martin as a writer gave his best in this novel. He has thoroughly impressed science fiction lovers with larger than life characters and gripping storylines. A true reflection of his amazing science fiction works are the novels like A Game of Thrones and A Clash of Kings.

The female characters in this novel were as strong as the females. The narrator, Roy Dotrice was god with the voices of the male characters, but failed to perform well with the female voices. Roy is generally known as a quality narrator and he performed well in the first three chapters of this series. But, failed to impress the audience this time.

As a result of a colossal war, the future expected for the great Seven Kingdom is hanging somewhere in balance. This wasn’t a new case for the Seven Kingdoms. They are best by a range of emerging threats that were coming from all directions. Daenerys Targaryen were attacking from the east, where Daenerys were the last known scion of the Targaryen House. She was the one known for ruling the three kingdoms and was tagged as the queen of the city. But that city was constructed over all dust and deaths. The stakes in this story are quite high for the queen as she is chased for the battle.

George R. R. Martin is an awesome storyteller. You will be thoroughly impressed to witness your favorite characters again, who are Jon Snow, Tyrion and Daenerys etc. The exquisite locations told also add to the charm of this story. However, the performance by Roy Dotrice was a let down.
