Patrick Collins, Special Agent was looking ahead to a reunion with his former team. That was the time when he was handed over a fresh new case. The case was of a human child missing. The changeling left in her place resulted in a considerable witch family for the sake of demanding justice from the fae.

In the meantime, with the continued harassment from the god pack forces of NYC, Jonathan de Vere established his very own with Patrick formally. Doing so will result in a civil war within the were-creature community. It was a war that risked losing from the start without any alliances. Making the bargains with the fae was never wise. But on the other side, Jono and Patrick have nothing to lose at all when a fae lord came to ask for their help.

This one is a lovely book from a fantastic series, and hopefully, there will be a lot more of these in the Soulbound series. The top-quality narration made everything sound even better in audio.
