A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows

The “Outlander” series is full of romance, fantasy along with the basic ingredient i.e time travelling. When someone enters the past the future changes for sure because it is on the past the future depends. This has been happening in almost all the parts of the series by Diana Gabaldon. The writer has kept one thing in mind i.e she has not tried to change the past history items for example the result of different wars and campaigns have remained the same.

The changes have always been brought on individual level and not on social or political level. Roger MacKenzie was just a boy when his parents were killed in the World War. But this was just the news which he got from the media and other people around. The boy never got true evidence about the disappearance of his parents, i.e their dead bodies were never found. For years he has been in search of the truth about his parents.

His sense doubt the news and he thinks that there is more to the story then mere news broadcasted by the media. After a short time when the boy starts the investigation we find ourselves in the world like that of Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber. Time travelling scenario comes into play which Robert Ian MacKenzie narrates.

The boy’s parents never vanished because of the World War rather there were other strange reasons behind their disappearance and Roger thinks he can find them alive. Miracles do happen in the real world of flesh and blood but one got to have firm faith in them after which they finally come true.
