Eve Dallas is not an ordinary detective at all because she is the one who has faced monsters in her career. Killers who didn’t leave any kind of clues were caught by Dallas with a little help from her billionaire husband Roarke. This time the crime becomes more hideous than Encore in Death and Secrets in Death because the killer is killing his victims in a strange ritualistic manner.

Eve gets surprised when she sees the first dead body of a woman who had a ribbon around her neck and her hands are in a way as if she was praying. The most horrifying thing was the eyes that were plucked out of the sockets were neatly and it appeared that the killer had the skills of a surgeon to do such a thing. Later such bodies kept on appearing and Eve starts thinking that perhaps she is missing something serious.

If she wants to catch the criminals that she must understand the motive of this evil doer. J.D. Robb has added another character in this episode who has the power to use her psychic ability with the help of which she can predict the future.

She tells Eve about the visions that she starts having about the killer and this makes the story more sensational because Eve thinks she is running out of time. In Susan Ericksen’s unmatchable voice the story gets really energized and this is one of those episodes in which the audience can get scared on most occasions.
