Trickery

Trickery is a teen & young adult science fiction novel. It is the first book in the Curse of the Gods novel series. The book is written by Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington. Jaymin is known for writing paranormal, fantasy, and urban fantasy novels for new adult and young adult readers. Dragon Marked is one book of the author to look for and so is Rejected.

The audio narration of the Trickery novel is done by Vanessa Moyen. Her style of narration is hypnotic and the performance was spot on. The listeners want her to continue throughout the series. Being a dweller in Minatsol means that you are meant to be no better that the dirt. The dirty in fact might be a lot more useful than Willa herself. Her life would be one of servitude to the souls, the magic-blessed beings who could be chosen one day to become the gods.

Her outer village at least was removed from all the different cities of the sols. Moreover, she wouldn’t ever be forced to present herself in any way to them. But then one small mistake happened which changed everything. Willa was then awarded a position to serve well at the Blesswood. It was the top sol academy in the world. It was a position that she did not earn most definitely.

Under the watcher, the sudden eye of the gods, she would be given the task to serve well the Abcurse brothers, the five sols built of perfection, arrogance, and power. They were nearly gods themselves, and also under their service. She was either going to end up sentenced to death or else they were going to ruin her so badly that she would wish for it. She was in trouble, either way.
