The Darkest Whisper

Heroes seldom find love in their lives because they are always found too busy in fighting battles. During the battles, their personal life is always sacrificed and this makes their victory dull for them. Sometimes they even have to sacrifice their dear ones for the sake of success and then that success keeps on pinching them to eternity. Gena Showalter’s hero of this novel, Sabin is facing the same kind of problems in the story. Sabin has lost the love of his life and he is left all alone in his life.
All he lives for is the victory which he has been achieving for many years. The taste of those victories has become dull because he has no one to celebrate with. In one of his quests, Sabin meets Gwen who was locked in prison. Just like Sabin Gwen was also an immortal but she was not planning to fall in love with a warrior.

Max Bellmore changes the style of narration when the two meet because the fragrance of love can be felt from a distance. Both of them were in search of the Pandora Box and this common quest brings them closer emotionally and physically. Accidental love separates the story from The Warlord and The Darkest Night, also the love in this story is innocent in comparison to the other two books that are mentioned.

The two lovers were not looking for each other, however, when they meet neither of them was strong enough to resist the temptation. The writer does not change the novel into a love story after that thus the main theme does remain the same.
