Honor’s Splendour

Lady Madelyne never wanted a life full of hardships and troubles. Although she was in the English court with her family she wasn’t getting the right kind of treatment in life. Her brother was treating her in a bad way all the time and she thought that she would not get the freedom that she rightly deserves. Then the writer of the novel Julie Garwood introduces the hero or savior in the form of a villain initially.

Baron Duncan of Wexton attacked Louddon’s domain because of the grudge of the past and as a symbol of victory he took with him the beautiful sister of the baron. Madelyne needed only one thing in life i.e her honor and she got surprised when Duncan provided her with much more. Duncan provided her love which stole her heart within no time and she forgot all which she faced in the past.

In her present life, she starts thinking of one thing only i.e always standing with her husband who happens to be a man of honour by all means. Killjoy showed the situation in which the opposite attracted each other. Later we observed how two characters who were in search of true love collided on the way in The Bride.

There is an honour game going on in this novel which develops into love very quickly. Anne Flosnik didn’t have to adjust a lot for the narration of this book because the voice was already up to the mark. Madelyne finally gets what she wanted in life and once she had it she was ready to make sure that no one snatches her happiness away from her.
