Assault

Assault is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the second chapter of the Invasion Series which is written by D. I. Feed. He was into gaming for a long and produced some excellent LitRPG and science fiction novels where one of which is Activation.

The audio narration of Assault is done by Grant Cartwright. It was a decent performance overall. You might feel at times that he could have put a little more emotion into the characters, but still, it was pretty much satisfying. Having been able to survive well through the different events at the Invade encampment, Vic discovered and exposed something big. It was a lot about the different conspiracies and range of corruption within his city.

Being an operative under the United Forces of Humanity, we joined hands with Vic just as he started to dig much deeper into the underbelly of the survival of humanity. In doing that, Vic uncovered a lot of other nefarious activities which went well beyond the horrors that he had unearthed already. Moreover, as always the threat coming from the Invaders was more of a constant risk that could bring to end all that was dear to him.

The storyline of Assault is very interesting. But, it will take its sweet time to get along and reach a decent pace. If you are someone into OP MC then this title Assault is an excellent choice for you. You will also find this book slightly heavy on the stat details and those sections might just be skipped. Moreover, this is also the book that will make you wait for the next installment in the series as well.
