Zero G Audiobook
Feeling of loneliness in outer space can scare anyone especially when that person is just a young boy with no experience of a space adventure before. But there is always a first time for anything in life that is the thing which came in the mind of Zero when he boarded on the ship. The ship was prepared to take twenty thousand humans to a distant planet that was one hundred years far from the earth.
The plan was simple i.e land on the planet and establish a human colony there. Only problem was the span of one hundred years after which the humans present in the ship would turn into skeletons. Special pods were developed for this purpose in which the humans present in the ship can sleep for hundred years. The passengers will wake up when the ship will reach the desired place. During the journey because of the malfunctioning in the pod Zero woke up earlier than the others. [Zero G Audiobook]
One thing was clear i.e Zero would not be alive when the ship will reach the destination. Instead of becoming sad the boy started enjoying his loneliness in the ship. Dan Wells till this point takes the story further in a smooth style. Then a family of pirates attack the ship and they aim to take the ship under their control and enslave the passengers. Zero is the only one awake and he decides to fight to save the rest of the passengers. [Zero G Audiobook]
Partials and Fragments were in parts as compared to this which is a single story or we can say a space adventure. The boy who was scared at the start shows superb courage at the climax where he risks his life to save the rest. Emily Woo Zeller, Josh Hurley, Eddy Lee, Betsy Hogg and David Shih have narrated in great coordination which is an extra benefit to this book.
