World War Z: The Lost Files is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is written by Max Brooks. He is an American author and an actor. He is the son of the famous American comedy filmmaker, Mel Brooks, and a famous actress Anne Bancroft. The majority of his books are based on zombies.
The audio narration of the book is done by Martin Scorsese, Rene Auberjonois, Denise Crosby, Bruce Boxleitner, Paul Sorvino, F. Murray Abraham, and Max Brooks himself. Those are all the big names from Hollywood, and especially the inclusion of Martin Scorsese, the Academy Award winner impressed one and all. The multicast narration worked very well for this title and the audience will have a very good time with this easy listen. There were a few issues, especially with the voice of zombies moaning which didn’t go well. But, it can be ignored as the overall performance was quite good.
This book brings the original abridged version recording of World War Z. This will thrill the fans of Max Brooks and they would love to add this piece to their audio library. The audience will enjoy as much as five hours of fresh and previously unrecorded content. It also features 21 A-list actors from Hollywood as well as the other science fiction fans performing the story. Those were not included in the original abridged version.
This is an amazing book and far better than many books of the same type. It had a planetary perspective and that worked very well for it. The narration from multiple performers was exceptional as well. On the downside, this abridged version didn’t include a few of the most popular stories of World War Z and that was frustrating for some of the fans of the series.
