J.R. Ward talks about a male who is not sure about anything in his life now because he has lost whom he loved more than his life. Therese who is attracting Trez now has come to the place to find an escape from her past. Lover Unveiled and The Wolf were not decorated by love scenes such as this one. Here the two characters meet for the first time but they feel that there is some kind of connection between them that they cannot deny.
Their isolated life seems to sparkle when they see each other and perhaps they can solve each other’s problems by joining hands. Jim Frangione has narrated with simplicity and he has not tried to add too many emotions because the words by the author were already loaded with it.
