St. Mary was back in business in the fifth part and after that, the time jumps started once again. Max is the one who takes care of everything for St. Mary and she is optimistic that everything is perfectly fine.
There are few issues but Max thinks that she can handle every inch of it with accuracy. Others doubt her abilities but she does not listen to those old-timers very often. She has a new husband in this episode and she is hoping for great days in her personal life too when the story begins. Jodi Taylor takes the story as far as to the era of John of Arc where the team reaches the place at the time of execution.
As Max is busy in other affairs it is Markham who informs Max that there is a mole in St. Mary’s and she has to arrest him or her before things turn up too big for them. Later there is a talk about traveling to Italy and Egypt where several things are analyzed by different members of the team.
It’s all highly energetic and the narration by Zara Ramm further amplifies like Just One Damned Thing After Another and Hard Time. There is always a lot of fuss in the parts of this series so it is better to listen to all of it in free time. If you skip one chapter of these books you are bound to get confused in the later section.
One time jump leads us to another and it carries on till everything is settled in the end. The story remains at the same pace as the author and narrator are never in any kind of hurry.
