Author Catherine Coulter has established two separate stories in this book and the motive is the same i.e to find the missing links that can reveal the truth. Two narrators were needed for this book and it has been provided exactly that in the form of Saskia Maarleveld and Pete Simonelli. The Cove and Reckoning lacked this much variety in the narration but the quality of the story in those two novels was exactly the same.
