Vision in Silver is a paranormal fantasy novel. It is the third chapter of The Others (Bishop) novel series. It is written by Anne Bishop. She is an American writer of paranormal fantasy novels. Daughter of the Blood is her novel from the Black Jewels trilogy for which she won the Crawford Award in 2010. You will love his work in the Murder of Crows novel as well. The narration of Vision in Silver is done by Alexandra Harris. It was an above-average performance with negligible issues, and nothing major to worry about.
The Others were the ones who freed the Cassandra sangue for protecting the blood prophets from any kind of exploitation. They as no idea that their actions would result in severe consequences. The fragile seers ten were in more extreme danger than ever before. The danger was due to their weaknesses and also from those who tried to control their prophecies which were all meant for wicked purposes. Simon was the leader of the shape-shifters among the Others. He was in desperate need of all the answers but had no choice other than to enlist the help of Meg Corbyn, the blood prophet. It was regardless of all the risks that she came across by helping him.
Meg was still quite deep within the throes of her compulsion to the ecstasy that she felt when she cut and spoke prophecy. She knew it quite well that every slice of her blade lured death. But the humans and the Others alike needed all the answers. Moreover, her vision might well be her only hope for Simon for ending the conflict.
The story of the book is pretty good and it will develop the interest of the listeners to go further with the series. The pacing of the story was just a little slow at times and that could have been better.
