Unbroken

Unbroken is a memoir by Laura Hillenbrand. It is an excellent story of World War II which is dominated by resilience, survival, and redemption. She is a bestselling author and writer of magazine articles. It will be a great idea to try out the Unbroken (The Young Adult Adaptation) of the book. Apart from Unbroken, Seabiscuit: An American legend is also a nonfiction bestseller by the author.

Edward Herrmann is the narrator of Unbroken book. The narrator had really strong content to deliver which he did with perfection.

It was an afternoon of May in 1943 when a bomber of Army Air Forces crashed deep into the Pacific Ocean, and then it disappeared. Then after some time, a face appeared on the surface of the ocean which was of the young lieutenant and a bombardier of the place. He was struggling for life there and then started one of the most outstanding journeys of World War II.

He was Lt. Louis Zamperini. He was quite a cunning delinquent during his boyhood days. He was known for brawling ad breaking into houses. In his teenage, his focus shifted toward running and this talent made him part of the Berlin Olympics. But, he became an airman with the start of the war which took him on a journey that led to his flight crash and then drifting into the unknown. He had to overcome a great challenge ahead in that ocean which had a foundering raft, leaping sharks, starvation and thirst, enemy planes, and miles of open ocean all around.

The excellent combination of great content and narration made this book a huge success. It was a heartbreaking tale and it served as a reminder of the unbelievable reminder about ruthlessness of war.
