Maizy a simple human being returns home after spending a few years abroad. There on the foreign land she was living the life of an ordinary human being which she is not. Originally she belongs to a pack of wolves that have a very long history. On her return, she meets her childhood protector Denver who is not the same anymore. Something has happened to him that has made him look more serious now. He smiles but there is a lack of originality in it and his fake smile hides many things which he does not want to discuss.
Denver seeing Maizy after so many years becomes surprised because she is not a kid anymore rather she is a woman who can attract anyone’s attention in the pack. Her presence can arouse a desire in a male to have her as his mate. Denver never thought that he would have such a desire for her and now she was in front of him claiming his heart.
Two other suitors were also there in the competition and somehow Denver thinks that the decision will be in his favor. Well, that is just the outline of the story, from the inside there are more dangers that are looming on the pack. Dannika Dark adds more dangers which force Maizy to hire a bodyguard once again.
Nicole Poole correctly gives the voice of a lover to Denver which even appeals to the audience if they can feel love. The novel will have such an impact on your thoughts that you will go for One Second and Sterling. Dannika’s books cannot be left incomplete once started because the stories are gripping and then they get glued to the mind.
