Twice Tempted

Vlad the Prince of Darkness gets interested in the beauty of Leila for a while and then he shifts his focus elsewhere. Leila was also attracted towards him but when he shifts his focus she just gets frustrated. The girl just cannot leave the awesome vampire because he arouses in her the feelings which no other mortal can arouse. In his presence Leila feels just carried away in romantic thoughts and when he does not pay attention she just cannot keep her calm. But this time she tries to ignore him as well so that he can also feel that she is annoyed. When this didn’t work Leila tries to shift her interest in a different man who takes much care of her initially. All this time Vlad just don’t get irritated at all and Leila starts thinking that perhaps there was no such thing as love between them. One problem and then the other keep on teasing the girl after the breakup with the Prince of Darkness.

An assassin gets on her tail and takes the contract of killing her as quickly as possible. With her life on the line Jeaniene Frost’s new heroine for this novel gets confused that which of the lover she should chose for help. Vlad is apparently not interested in her and the other man in her life does not stand a chance against the assassin. Halfway to the Grave and Wicked Bite were also narrated by Tavia Gilbert so this too is not very different in standard and quality of speech. Only one who is mad in love in this novel is Leila, the male characters are not described as over emotional.
