The game gets into new gear as Lowen comes to the Hearthworld and captures a strong dungeon. Lowen has been working for the Tyrant King for a very long time and he has come to this world on the orders of the king. His first step i.e capturing a strong dungeon has remained successful and now he must take the second step which includes the eradication of other dungeon lords and their dungeons. Roark is new to the game but he has accomplished a lot within a small period of time. He thought that after the initial steps life would be easy for him in this strange world but that was not the case at all.
He has never witnessed such a powerful being as Lowen and in order to beat him, Roark has to unlock the mysterious power of the World Stone Pendant. If he is able to unlock those hidden powers then he would be able to face Lowen in an open battle. Also, there are other things that he should keep in mind i.e he needs an army along with some super powers if he wants to defeat a Dungeon Lord.
Forging an alliance is not easy when you are in Hearthworld because everyone is after your dungeon and they are waiting for you to kneel down. The two authors of this saga, James Hunter and Eden Hudson have managed a nice balance in the story at every level and it also shows the excellent chemistry between the two writers.
Viridian Gate Online: Empirical Endgame and Bibliomancer talk about strange worlds too which a listener cannot understand if he has not listened to the initial episodes of the series. Nick Podehl is a big name in the field of narration that’s why he becomes the first choice in fantasy tales. So here Nick’s selection was quite obvious.
