The novel in audio is narrated by Steve Campbell. The performance by Steve was acceptable, neither too good nor bad. You will be fine with this performance. Six towers on a single day appeared on planet Earth. Each of those towers stood many stories tall and were all vulnerable to attacks. There was a portal at the base of each tower, which was welcoming all those who dare to enter it. There were all types of magical monsters there inside the towers. On top of that, the magic, treasure, and strength of a superhuman could all be acquired there as well.
The issue here is that the towers were not any friendly place at all. They release waves at times of the monsters for attacking the Earth. In 2083, there were only a handful of survivors left. In one more attempt, they threw a challenge to the final floor with no regard at all for their lives. By the virtue of some miracle, they somehow managed to get the better of the floor which came at the cost of their lives. That left only a single survivor behind. He is the form of a reward was given one wish to be fulfilled and he decided to time-travel in the past…
The story of this novel had some flaws and that was the case right from the start as the opening scene seems to be quite forced. However, the overall concept of the story was reasonably good. It seems that the writer just missed ensuring proper delivery.
