The underworld is always waiting for anyone who dares to enter its domain and once you come in then there is no way to get out of it. Even the hunters become prey in this land that is governed by the demon. Elorion has not been the guy who had been on the run from his enemies but he has tried to keep himself secured on all occasions. For this, he has used his powers completely and has managed to level up all the time as this is the only way to survive when you are trapped in a big game like the world.
Surviving the mighty attack of Lord Darius was not easy because he had the upper hand in most of the fight until the tables were turned by Elorion. Mistress’ Labyrinth has eaten up legends in the past, Elorion however is ready to leave the place and he is soon going to enter an even bigger mess. Though he is unable to understand the gravity of the situation at present he just cannot stop at a place, he must level up as quickly as possible.
Apollos Thorne provides three options to the hero and none of them is easy for him to get adjusted with. Absorbing Blue Magic and going into the palace alone can save his friends but the thing would be temporary so he can add the other captives on his mission as well.
For the fans of action and mystery, there is a lot of material in the form of Sanctuary and Proving Grounds so don’t think that this is the only book that the author has created in this style. Graham Halstead just keeps on the good work in the narration section of this novel.
