Those Left Behind

Those Left Behind is the 10^th installment in the Zombie Fallout novel series. It is written by Mark Tufo who is a very talented writer of science fiction novels. If you explore the literary archives of the author then his Devil’s Desk novel will pop up as one of his best. The same could also be said about his Zombie Fallout 7: For The Fallen novel. These recommended novels are available in audio and they will make a great read in this format, as they both are superbly narrated as well.

The audio narration of this book is done by Sean Runnette. He is a very skillful narrator and you will hardly ever come across any bad performance by him. As usual, he gave his best in The Left Behind novel’s narration as well.

The cadence, tonal quality, expression, and understanding of the characters was just superb. He was able to produce distinct voices for different characters and that made this entire performance so much enjoyable and easy to listen to.

The story of this book revolves around one big and fateful decision. That was all that it takes to either fulfill the desire of the Talbot clan for safety or just unravel everything that they have achieved. Many of them were lost. A few of the others did make a return back, but there were still other challenges to be tackled. This is a tale about their hard struggle to survive and remembering those who have been left behind.

This is a fantastic book and a must-listen. It is that kind of story on which a TV show, movie, or series should be made. The story and characters are just phenomenal.
