Nice Girls Don’t Have FangsAnna Fox, the average woman living on her own in a small house has no threats of any kind in her life. She is living happily and trying to forget the issues of the past if there were any at all. Never does she talk about her past to anyone and most of her free time is spent drinking. The old woman likes drinking because it provides her with the satisfaction that she requires in her life. During free time, Anna comes to the window and keeps a watch on the neighbours.
She knows all about her neighbours because she works like a spy in the neighbourhood. When the Russells came and settled right next to Anna’s house, she wasn’t alarmed because the perfect family seemed completely harmless from a distance. The couple had a son and they appeared to be happy with their life.
Anna never tried to keep a watch on this family because they had nothing that could attract her attention. Then one night, Anna saw something strange in Russells’ house from her window. She was unable to believe her eyes but the situation was real for sure. Anna at once called the police because she thought that she would not be able to handle things on her own.
When the police came, they investigated the matter but it was nothing of that sort. The police thought that Anna was too drunk that’s why she assumed the whole thing. This is A.J. Finn’s first thriller but the author has shown true professionalism. Ann Marie Lee with the experience of Sharp Objects and The Last Victim has kept the narration high class.
