Shea Ernshaw will tell the audience the story of a magical world that they have never heard of in the past. It is an imaginative world like none other in literature and the author’s depiction of the scenes is the main strength of the story. The efforts of Casey Turner cannot be left unappreciated because the narrator had an uphill task in this one. The story starts in the past when three sisters are caught for witchery and then they are sentenced to death in a hideous way.
The villagers tied stones to their ankles and then they were thrown into deep water thus they were drowned forever. The people of the town thought that they got rid of those monstrous creatures but they were wrong. The sisters started coming out of that place where they were drowned for the purpose of revenge.
Every summer they started acquiring bodies of different girls through which they were able to allure young boys to death. Two hundred years later, it is Penny’s turn to accept her bad fate and Bo Carter is the one who is fated to be hunted down.
Penny and Bo are just not ready to face the kind of fate that the witches have planned for them. So they decide to fight back which seems to be impossible. A History of Wild Places and A Wilderness of Stars would improve the flavor of the listener if listened along with this book. The tale gets scary once the witches come out of the water and start hunting down the innocent human souls. No one is safe so get ready for an epic adventure.
