Ghosts of the past can really become difficult to bury on many occasions. Sometimes they just keep on coming until the cause of their appearance is eradicated. This is the thing that happens in this novel by Heather Graham. In a hotel, a dead body of a beautiful woman is found and the killer is never traced by the police. After this, the dead bodies just keep on appearing in the city, and the murderer is never caught.
The police think that the one behind this is not a human being because there is no trace of him at all. Texas Ranger Logan Raintree thinks that the thing has gone out of hand and he cannot allow such a thing to go on any longer. He is given a special team in which there are people like Kelsey who are specialized in such things.
This time the killer is going down for sure because Logan too has the power to talk to the dead and he is not going to leave any stone unturned in order to bring down its mysterious killer. The quick and clear narration by Luke Daniels takes every listener on a special tour where there is a lot of bloodshed and also ghosts that are roaming here and there.
The Evil Inside and The Hidden made us scared on a number of occasions but we don’t close such books because of that scary thing because the thrill in them forces us to go to the end. It is the real killer we want to see so that the suspense can come to an end. Logan and Kelsey really work hard in it and this work finally pays off in the end.
