Shadowvale is not an average town rather it is different as compared to other towns in America. For people who live close to it, the town is cursed and it should not be visited. However, there are peacekeepers like Deacon who have been taking care of the issues with perfection. Deacon is also cursed but he is using this curse for the betterment of the society in which he and his family have been living since the beginning.
Although Deacon wanted to shift to somewhere else the curse and his duties have not allowed him to take that decision. Emeranth Greer was trying to hide from her past and when she came to her aunt in Shadowvale, she thought that she was in the right spot in life.
The place was full of magic and then there was Deacon who was right there for Em for the taking. The two developed a nice love bond between them and they thought that they could start a new life together. Soon the deadly past started catching up on Em and Deacon is the only one who wants to save her. He has to fight against the curse for the safety of his loved one but in the process, he can lose his own life.
The Professor Woos the Witch and The Werewolf Meets His Match are love stories which take us to the supernatural world just like this pleasant looking tale. Kristen Painter takes the audience to a land where things happen differently and the issues of the real world don’t exist here. The medium paced and low pitched voice of B.J. Harrison has met the requirements of the story very well here.
