The Tower of Swallows: Booktrack Edition is the fourth installment in The Witcher Saga. This science fiction and fantasy novel is written by Andrzej Sapkowski and translated into English by David A French. Andrzej is a Polish writer who has offered science fiction lovers superb entertainment, especially with novels like Baptism of Fire and Blood of Elves.
The audio narration of the book is done by Peter Kenny. The narration was not that good at all. There was some complementary music with excellent rhythm and tempo and that would be a good experience. The world was in a war. The child of prophecy named Ciri had vanished. She was hunted alike by allies and foes. She then decided to take on the guise of a bandit and started to live a free life for the very first time in her entire life.
But, the trap around her was closing very quickly. In the Witcher, Geralt has assembled a group of friends. Those allies include Milva, Dandelion, Cahir, and Regis who had to rescue her. Both the sides of the ongoing war had deployed brutal mercenaries who were meant to hunt down Ciri. It was all about her crimes which made her so much famous all around.
After that, there was only one place left behind to run for Ciri. On the other side, the tower of the swallow was waiting ahead as well. The character development is immense in this book. The story progression is quite good as well. The narration is the only major disappointment with this novel. The background music plays continuously in this book track edition but you will kind of like that.
