If someone in the audience thinks that long series does not exist in the world of literature now then he should think again. This is the twenty seventh part of the series and Heather Graham has shown the skill of knitting wonderful stories which he possesses from the beginning. McLane House was considered the house of horrors in the area and Kristi didn’t believe in all those stupid myths.
One thing which she does not believe in is ghosts because she thinks that these things don’t exist in the real world. So when she inherits this Bed and Breakfast business she thinks that she will finally be able to excel in life.
One night Kristi confronts something which brings horror to her mind and soul. She is left with no other option except to run away from the building and while running away she lands near Dallas Wicker. Dallas was actually investigating the murder of a close friend because there were several things about the murder that he was unable to understand. Luke Daniels starts the narration in a heavy tone from this portion as the audience is told that the list of the missing persons is linked to Kristi’s home and family.
If you already have The Uninvited and Darkest Journey in the mind then it will be easy to understand the development of this story. Kristi finally starts believing in ghosts and she is going to confront a few of them quite soon, the worst part is that those ghosts are not in a good mood. Kristi can also land on the same list of missing people if she does not solve the case first with the help of Dallas.
