The audio narration of The Summer House novel is done by Ari Fliakos. The narrator did a pretty good job of getting into the character and that pleased the audience of this book. The Summer House was once known to be a highly luxurious and exotic Southern gateway situated on the rustic lake. But then with time, it just reduced to a derelict crash pad. Then it became the scene of a mass murder committed at nighttime. Eyewitnesses at the crime scene pointed to four Army Rangers. Those were known as the Night Ninjas who made a recent return from Afghanistan. For ensuring justice, the Army deployed Major Jeremiah there for the investigation who was a former NYPD cop. But the major along with his team arrived in Georgia with absolutely no idea that their jobs there would become even more challenging by the local law enforcement agency. They resisted the intrusion of the Army there and stonewalled the entire team at almost every turn.
Just as Cook and his team struggled hard to find the truth behind the evidence, the pieces just wouldn’t fit well. The forces there were rallying to ensure that the secrets died along with the victims in that murder house.
The book and its story are great. You will love the suspense being created which will keep you hooked on this book for a long time.
