The Segonian

The Segonian is a science fiction romance novel. It is the second instalment in the Aldebarian Alliance novel series. The book is written by Dianne Duvall. She is a multi-award-winning author of romance novels. She won several awards for Darkness Dawns, which is the debut novel of the author. If you try and like the debut novel of the author then you must also try out the Darkness Rises book of the author. The audio narration of The Segonian novel is done by Kirsten Potter. The narration of the subject novel has been stunningly good and it is highly recommended.

Elena was hurtling through space on board a Lasaran battleship and got to know a couple of alien races there. It was the most exciting adventure ever of her extremely long life until the ship was attacked unexpectedly. In that chaos, she helped everyone she could valiantly before an explosion happened before her unconscious. When Elena awakened, she found herself all alone. She was floating in space, clad in a spacesuit only, while having no ship in sight.

Commander Dagon and the entire crew of the Segonian battleship named Ranasura responded to a distress call. It came from their Lasaran allies and then became part of a huge Alliance-wide search and rescue mission.  He achieved communication quickly with a lone Earthling female and soon raced towards her. Every time they looked to speak, he became much more desperate to reach her well before her oxygen supply gets finished. Her bravery, strength, and humour used to entice him, even more so when she defied all the odds and they met in person.

You will be over the moon with your experience with The Segonian audiobook. It was wonderfully written and equally well narrated as well.
