The Scent of Jasmine is an erotica fiction novel. It is written by Jude Deveraux. She is an American author mainly writing historical romances. She has authored more than 40 novels and a good number of those were bestsellers in The New York Times. Remembrance and A Knight in Shining Armor are two of the bestsellers of the author for which more than 50 million copies were sold across the world as of 2016. A Willing Murder is another worth sharing novel by the author.

The audio narration of The Scent of Jasmine is done by Gabra Zackman. It was a good performance but not great. In short, the narration would never be a distraction of any sort here.

The story of this novel is set in Charleston in 1799. Catherine was the daughter of a gifted painter and Southern gentility. In Virginia back home, she had absolutely no lack of suitors. She was waiting to fulfill her dream to get married and having her own family. But it was their adventurous spirit of Cay that was fostered by her three brothers while growing up, and that was piqued when she visited South Carolina to visit her father. He was bedridden with his leg broken and he asked Cay for an urgent task to fill in for him. On her way to a ball, she must look to deliver a packed horse to the son of an old friend. He was an escaped convict who was charged with the murder of his wife.

Cay agreed with the plan but it couldn’t be executed as planned… The Scent of Jasmine will offer listeners pure core romance which wouldn’t disappoint you at all.
