The Rooster Bar Audiobook
Going to law school was the passion of Mark, Todd, and Zola. They thought that they would be able to change the world with their expertise. Justice was the main thing according to the three friends but they weren’t expecting any kind of irony in their lives. After spending three years in law school they thought that they had not gained a lot of knowledge but they are in serious debt because they took loans from the bank in order to clear their school dues.
They were looking for an easy way out but they weren’t able to find any kind of support. Then they finally hit a strange thing that would be able to solve their issues within no time. Their school was actually connected to the bank which was providing loans to the students.
Thus the school and bank were supporting each other indirectly and they were looting the students. If the three of them are able to prove that scam then they will finally be able to get rid of the debt and their education issue would get resolved within no time. John Grisham painted The Boys from Biloxi and Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer before this so this one is more polished.
Such novels usually need a strong voice but Ari Fliakos has provided a clear voice and that was the most important thing in a novel that has multiple characters. All the characters played their role well and they have been given equal chances in the narration too. The three students get triumphed eventually but they had to go through the grind which was unbearable.
