The story raises a question i.e what a person should do when he loses all hopes of survival. The easy way is to wait for the imminent death which will come sooner or later. There is also another way in which Yun adopts and makes his life a living hell. The man was suffering from cancer and he wanted a cure that was promised to him by an alien race that apparently wanted to save humanity.
In order to save humanity, the alien race wanted to subjugate the humans first. Though Yun had a positive thing in mind the people of the earth considered him an enemy because he was helping the aliens against humanity. Yun got tortured and punished a lot after which he decided that he will not help any other being except himself. Then a new and more dominating race appears in the world and the plan is total chaos.
Once again Yun is needed for the fight and here he takes a wise decision. Yun decides to save humanity in his own way on this occasion. Baoshu Ken’s book is not full of surprises but it is a well-organized book that talks about the struggles of a hero.
P.J. Ochlan’s experience in The Smart Stepfamily and Death’s End helped him a lot to narrate this specific book. There is constant torture for the hero in this show and the good thing is that he is not giving up on the mission to save the humans. Yun just forgets about his own issues and the deadly disease of course because of the worries that surround him in the later stages of the story.
