Detective Billy Harney has seen it all. He got shot in the head, accused of murder by his colleagues, and stalked by an attorney of the state. Still, all of this was considered by him to be a regular week on the job. So when a shooting incident on the west side of Chicago all of a sudden turned political then Billy led the way for a quick solution. But then his instincts came into play as well – His father once used to be the chief of the detective and Patti, his twin sister was also in that force. Those were the things that ran deep in his mind.
As the people there seeking justice threatened to riot, Billy realized that those three unknown victims were not the only casualties. This is an exciting series and this second installment is as good as the first in the series. Edoardo Ballerini as the narrator of this book is very impressive as well.
