The Ranger’s Path is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the second installment in The King’s Ranger novel series. The book is authored by AC Cobble. If you like fantasy and LitRPG stuff then you must give AC Cobble a try. If you are convinced then The Ranger’s Sorrow book of the author will make a very fascinating listening experience. The same could also be said about his The King’s Ranger novel.
The audio narration of The Ranger’s Path novel is done by Simon Vance. He is a phenomenal voice artist and this book and its characters seemed to be tailor-made for his voice.
Rew was the king’s ranger. He was the one who led his team of young companions on a lethal journey. The target of that journey was to find their father. Their path onwards twisted all across the Eastern Territory. They fought hard right towards the prison where Baron was kept in captivity. That party of companions on their way would face assassins, bandits, spell-casters, treacherous noblemen, and the fellow rangers to reach that point.
Cinda and Raif were quite desperate to recover their abducted father. They would go on to risk anything for finding their father. Raif was fully equipped with the magical greatsword, but he was not as skilled or strong as he once thought to be. Cinda was awakened to lethal and weird necromantic magic. She was expected to have control over her powers which she never expected to have.
This is a slow burn and you wanted this story to speed up so that it gets to the main point quickly. There was potential there in the content which was not maximized.
