The plan was simple but the execution has been the problem for the eight people who have the task in hand. The parallel universe got rocked because of the war and then the enemies decided to do something that could end the war. Instead of thinking about the peace process, they went the other way around. A group tried to bring a gigantic ancient beast to life so that it can be used in the war, the process of bringing back was fulfilled with accuracy. However, when the Beast was brought to the battlefield controlling it became tough for both sides.
The Beast not only went out of control but it also started to eradicate heroes from both sides and there is a threat that it might eat up everyone. Four couples have to marry after which their nations will come close to one another and they will be able to defeat the Beast in a joint venture. Kristen Ashley has talked about the same thing in the previous parts but the four couples are yet to combine.
Some differences cannot be solved and in the meantime, the Beast is fulfilling its monstrous agenda. Mystery Man and Dream Spinner had a few narrators and this book like always has Liz Thompson, Stella Bloom, Esther Wane, Rupert Channing, and Sarah Coomes for narration.
The plan is finalizing in this part of the series but the finishing touch comes quite later in the novel. More and more troubles await the heroes and they have their issues as well to deal with. After marrying the four couples have to unite their people as well for the common goal.
