Trilogy gets completed in style in this part written by D.J. MacHale. The hero of the series has a habit of jumping here and there in different dimensions and time zones. Yes, it is Bobby the one who landed in the world where two game masters were controlling the fate of everyone. He very successfully played the game till the end and won victory and freedom for the people.
That has become a thing of the past and Bobby along with his uncle Press is looking for some action again. Together they have helped many people and have lived many lives that the people around them are unaware of. This time Bobby goes back in time and he gets the chance to see New York back in 1937.
It is nothing like the present because there are sounds of gun fires everywhere. Gangsters are in power and the sheriffs are hard to find. Those who are given the duty to maintain law and order in the city are actually hiding in the mole holes. Spader is with Bobby and together they start looking for Saint Dane who is the real cause of this unrest. If they get to Danes then they would be able to know what his real plan is behind all of this disturbance.
William Dufris has once again narrated this part of the series so it is more like turning a new page of the same book. Fans’ favorites are books like The Merchant of Death and The Lost City of Faar but this one cannot be eradicated from the list either. It has all the ingredients that prove that it is a hit material for sure.
