Robert A. Heinlein was a praised as a legend in his time according to many people of the time but it is incorrect. The author still reigns supreme on every heart that beats with his stories like Stranger in a Strange Land and Time Enough for Love. Among the masterpieces of the time and still in the list of first ranked books the current one should not be left incomplete after you start it. Author takes us on a tour to his dream land where everything happens strangely and without reason.
The world is named as Luna by the author and he adds into it two rival groups, one of these groups is human; the other will blow up your mind because it consist of machines. Computers were created by humans and in order to make them of better use they were given brains of their own.
Computers started working independently which made the routine work easier for the humans so they gave them more liberty. Soon the computers were all over the place and now they are trying to dominate the world where they were once thought to be dumb machines that were made to follow orders.
Narrator with skill and talent was needed to depict the war a scene in which mankind is surely losing the competition. Lloyd James narrates this hopeless condition in time for the human race that is about to go extinct at the hands of its own creations. Conspiracies or hidden agendas are not present in this book because this element was not in demand for the scenes that are dominated clearly by the computers.
