The Magician’s Land Audiobook
Lev Grossman started the story in a humble way which means that he didn’t add any rash action scenes or magic when the story started. The author wanted the audience to see Quentin Coldwater as an average human being so that everyone can enjoy the rise of this hero from the ashes. For a long time we as the audience observe that Fillory is just land that exists in Quentin’s dreams but after some time, the boy is told that the land actually exists and he has some sort of connection with it.
The dreams he was having since his childhood was actually his past which was calling him back. Brakebills Preparatory College provided the hero a chance to come back to the world of magic and he realizes here that he has a bigger goal in life. He goes in search of Fillory and finds out that there is a spell that can bring this magical land back to life.
Quentin gets really excited and that excitement can be felt in the voice of Mark Bramhall who has narrated the entire novel. Plum and Quentin also discover one more thing i.e if they bring Fillory back to life then the human world might collide with it. Quentin does not want this to happen because he wants to protect both of these worlds at the same time.
A sacrifice is needed from the hero and he is not mentally ready for this epic task. The Magician King and The Silver Arrow showed the true power of magic and here there is the time for the ultimate sacrifice. The sacrifice can save the day and the question is can Quentin take this huge step?
