When Christina came to London she was the one who brought surprises to this part of the world. Everyone who saw her for the first time was mesmerized by the beauty of her appearance. There were secrets that she was hiding behind that veil and she didn’t want to unveil those things. Although many men tried to come close to her she didn’t allow anyone to come too close.
This one thing helped her to guard her big secret until the day when Lyon came to the scene. This man finally took a kiss from the lady that brought the secret to the surface. Christina knows that she has to protect that secret or life would become tough for her once again. However, forgetting the warmth of that kiss is also not very easy for her and Lyon is also well prepared to face anything for the passion that he felt in that single kiss.
Julie Garwood was at her best in The Bride and the author has kept the same style and quality in this book. It is the love scenes that the author describes in the best possible way and these scenes just make us stunned for a while.
In Shadow Music the audience was actually able to live the sensation which Susan Duerden narrated same as in this little tale. Christina tries to run away from Lyon for the most part of the series until she finds out that she has to embrace that love if she wants to move forward in her life. Most of the time, running away from a certain thing is not the answer to the question.
